Once the car is driven onto the ramps, further unrestricted access to the underside of the car is gained by removing the four units of the lead up ramps ( two for each side).
This picture shows the clear access to the underside of this TVR, for example to inspect the chassis outriggers for corrosion

Removing Wheels ?
If you need to raise your car to remove the wheels, work on brakes and suspension, but cannot use a normal trolley jack because of fouling the bodywork, you can use the ramps on their lowest setting 15cm / 6in with the first section of the lead up ramp.
This vehicle preparation company are using the ramps for better access to front, rear and sill areas.
